A United Voice for Arts Leadership

We invite submissions from a diverse community of contributors to the SALE Conference 2026, hosted by Pace University in New York City. This conference welcomes faculty, arts practitioners, students, policymakers, independent scholars, and consultants who are shaping the future of arts leadership and administration.

Conference Tracks

• General SALE Conference Track: Open to all presenters addressing arts leadership, administration, and education from academic, practical, and policy perspectives.

• WPAA Track: Dedicated sessions focusing on women's perspectives in arts administration, highlighting the work, research, and experiences of women-identifying scholars and practitioners.

• “Words Are Disappearing” Summit: A moderated discussion examining the impact of disappearing terminology from federal language and its implications for arts administration and society. All conference participants will be invited to participate in this session.

 

Who Should Present

We encourage submissions from all career stages and perspectives:

• Faculty: Present your latest research, pedagogical innovations, and theoretical frameworks

• Arts Practitioners: Bring your real-world experiences, case studies, and practical insights

• Undergraduate and Graduate Students: Share your thesis research, innovative projects, and emerging scholarship

• Policy Makers: Share your expertise in arts policy, advocacy, and governmental relations

• Independent Scholars and Consultants: Contribute your specialized knowledge and unique perspectives
   

Submission Process

Complete submissions must include all required information through our online submission form. All submissions will undergo a double-blind review process. Please note that there are a limited number of presentation slots available in each track.
